Just brought ZOOM phone, what next?
Insert your UIM card into your phone. It will then activate automatically. Your UIM card is a small card which is attached to a bigger one in your UIM Pack. The UIM card is a small microchip that represents your Zoom Mobile line and holds vital information. If your battery is new, charge your cell phone by connecting your charger to your cell phone and plug the charger into an electrical outlet for a minimum of 8 hours. Press your cell phone ‘ON’ button.
The screen on your phone will display Zoom Mobile.
I don’t receive calls?
Check to see you are in good network coverage area
Dial 111 or 112
I don’t have any network?
You can either re-start your system or call our internet agents with the above numbers, and the problem will be solved.
I want to switch plans?
Call 111 or 112, they will suggest the plans available with the terms and conditions, and if the subscriber agrees to the terms, the plan will be switched. Kindly ensure you can also ask the call centre agent for the codes for future purposes.
My battery’s not charging…
Take it out and insert it into the phone and try charging again.
Check to see that the plug is working
Take your phone to the nearest ZOOM Store or take it to our Iganmu office and our engineers will access and repair the phone.
I can’t make calls?
Check to see that you have sufficient credit to make a call
Your line might be deactivated or temporarily suspended
Call our national call centre (111 or 112), they will get your number and work on it.
How do I Recharge?
*222*pin number and press send.
Dial 222, listen to voice and follow instructions.
Lost my number: Visit a zoom store.
- If you are a registered subscriber you will pay for replacement and issued a one.
- If you are not registered, you will produce a form of identification, affidavits, proof of ownership (receipt of purchase)
- If you cannot provide any of the above stated documents you will be required to state the last 3 numbers called or frequently called numbers.
